NX loudspeakers have earned a reputation for proven reliability for over twenty years. The traditional analog design works equally well as a front-of-house speaker or stage monitor. Featuring a 12” woofer and 2000 watts of peak power (1000 watts program), the NX55P-2 is the most powerful speaker in the NX series. The rear panel features a master level control, a selectable LF roll off for use with a subwoofer or as a vocal monitor, and a switchable onboard mixer section. When enabled, this provides an XLR microphone input and 1/4" line inputs with level controls and 2-band EQ. Link inputs and outputs provide balanced connectivity to other cabinets. Up to three onboard mixers can be active in a linked system, providing up to three mic and six line inputs without requiring an external mixer. The NX55P-2's inputs and controls are well-protected so that it can be used in any orientation. It was carefully designed for low operating temperatures and reduced heat production to be placed close to walls, floors, and other speakers.
