This ultrarugged, road-proof Mogami Gold Stage Right-Angle Female 3-Pin XLR to Straight Male XLR Mic Cable (10') is a high-quality, heavy-duty microphone cable for stage use where cables will be used heavily. The cable uses Mogami #2791, 2-conductor / 105-strand cabling. It is terminated with a right-angle, female 3-pin XLR connector at one end and a straight male 3-pin XLR connector at the other.
The #2791 cable features 105 strands of 24 AWG annealed bare copper (three times the number of copper strands compared to a typical high-quality cable). Its compact size, together with a heavy-duty binder and filler system, and a braided shield ensure that the cable is less likely to break when handled—ideal for rugged remote and onstage use in sound reinforcement, TV, and broadcasting applications.
- Exhibits very low microphonic pickup and can operate at very cold temperatures down to -4°F without losing its flexibility.
