Heise HE-CHASE-WL1 Single Chasing Expandable Wheel Ring - 15"-18"

This chasing expandable wheel ring makes it easy to replace a damaged wheel ring or take your Heise LED lighting system to the next level by illuminating your vehicle’s mounted spare tire. A revolutionary patent-pending design makes it easy to expand the wheel ring from 15” to 18” to fit a wide range of vehicles. This kit includes two aluminum expandable wheel ring segments, a cuttable LED strip, a 10-foot extension cable, Y adapter, thread lock, mounting brackets, and hardware. This wheel light must be paired with a Heise Connect chasing controller (HE-CHASE-CB), sold separately, so the LEDs can be remotely controlled using the free downloadable Heise Connect mobile app for smartphones and tablets. The app features 170+ pre-programmed chasing patterns, a DIY pattern option that allows for selecting up to 16 colors and 3 motion effects, a brake function, a music sync function, and more. Lighting systems that rely on a Heise Connect controller with a set of four wheel rings already connected will require a second controller to support the addition of this fifth wheel ring to their spare tire. Users can easily group these two controllers within the Heise Connect app for cohesive control of the system.

A split ring design makes it easy to assemble and adjust this aluminum wheel ring to fit the diameter of the wheel. Installers can choose how far to expand the ring diameter by aligning the pre-drilled holes, each of which increases the diameter by .25” until they achieve the perfect fit. An “L” channel aligning track helps guide the two ring pieces together while adding strength and preventing the ring from bowing. Holes drilled on the outer “L” track are non-threaded, while the holes on the inner “L” track are threaded for M3 screws, eliminating the need for bulky nuts. The included thread lock ensures worry-free installation.
