It also features our patented built-in steering wheel control technology, combined with our patented auto-detect feature, which automatically detects the vehicle type, radio connection, and preset controls, while allowing for dual-assigning of steering wheel controls. The AXDIS also provides telematics retention, such as SYNC®, OnStar®, and UVO®, while offering solutions for amplified, non-amplified, and analog vehicles. This vehicle-specific interface is designed for use when replacing the factory radio in vehicles equipped with MOST25 amplified audio systems, such as those using Metra Electronics dash kits.
