The KTA-200M fits into the open space behind Alpine’s iLX-W650 7-inch Mech-Less (no CD/DVD) Audio/Video receiver to create Alpine’s unique Power Stack application. The compact footprint of the amplifier (7-inch W x 1.5-inch H x 3.5-inch D) and the shallow chassis of the iLX-W650 (1.9-inch D) occupy the same depth as a traditional 2-DIN chassis, resulting in an easy-to-hideaway bass solution that adds more power to the sound system without occupying space. The KTA-200M follows the same format as the KTA-450 4-Channel Power Pack Amplifier in a compact size, easy installation, and overall power. While designed to “stack” behind the iLX-W650 or similar 2-DIN radio, both amplifiers can also be used as standalone solutions in vehicles that don’t have space for a traditional amplifier. The KTA-200M produces 400 watts with Alpine’s DPP technology. During powerful or “dynamic” passages of music, DPP will adapt to the piece's needs by adjusting the amplifier's gain and delivering bursts of power that match the music's peak demands. Alongside this is the new voltage-adapting input circuit, which maintains the maximum source signal level without clipping.
